Join us for Discover Awana™ beginning in spring 2010. You’ll experience great fellowship with other Awana® leaders from around the country while also interacting with various Awana staff members. The event includes some fun activities along with instruction and time for idea sharing. You’re sure to have a great time while expanding your vision for your Awana® ministry!

Recharge your love for T&T™ kids by interacting with other T&T leaders and directors from around the country! Be challenged to bring creativity to your Gospel presentations, as well as new tools and relationships with like-minded people.

Discover Awana™ is a unique opportunity to experience the heart of the Awana® ministry, gain new training, network with others and be inspired for your next phase of ministry while having fun! This year each event includes some focused training regarding a club/church role or particular Awana club (see 2010 Schedule Page). If your role does not fall directly into one of the focus groups, you are still welcome to attend!
Event Includes: 
- 11 catered meals
- 4-night stay in the Rorheim Training Center (Alternate pricing is available for guests arranging their own housing.)
- A trip to downtown Chicago including sightseeing and other unique attractions
- Commemorative gift items

- Conference materials
- Training from Awana staff
- Network opportunities and fellowship
- Building tour and visit to Penny Lane warehouse
Registration Cost:
- * $350 per person including housing* (while rooms are available). Rooms will be arranged for double occupancy.
- * $300 per person without housing (Guests are required to make their own housing arrangements including transportation to and from Awana each day.)
- * Registration fee is due in full within 30 days after you have been contacted concerning your registration status. In the event you need to cancel your registration, you will be refunded in full up to 90 days prior to the event. A cancellation within 90 days will be subject to a $99 fee.
*Housing accommodations in the Rorheim Training Center are available for approximately the first 30-35 registrants. Guest rooms will be arranged for double occupancy. Rooms are air-conditioned and include linens, TV, private bathroom, and phone. Floor lounges include kitchenettes and a washer and dryer are also available.
Transportation:
- * Transportation to event locations during Discover Awana is included.
- * Transportation to and from Awana is NOT included. This includes to and from the airport and to/from alternative housing.
- * For airport transportation we recommend that you contact A1 Limo Service at (630) 833-3788 or make your own arrangements. Note that while airfares through Midway Airport are generally cheaper than O’Hare Airport, limo service to Awana from Midway is more expensive.
- * We can help you coordinate with other attendees to share limo service. Please contact discoverawana@awana.org for more information.
Schedule:
- * Plan to arrive at Awana by 2:00 p.m. CST the first day of the event. Most events will include a trip to downtown Chicago during the first full day.
- * A more detailed schedule of events will be sent 30-45 days prior to your visit.
- * Event will end at noon CST the last day of the event. Please do not book a flight out of Chicago for earlier than 2:30 p.m. CST.
